MultiPlus, plus ESS (Energy Storage System) functionality - MultiPlus-II is a multifunction inverter/charger with all the features of MultiPlus, plus an external current sensor option that extends PowerControl and PowerAssist functionality up to 50A. 100A. MultiPlus-II is ideal for professional marine, yachting, vehicle and land-based off-grid applications. It also has built-in anti-islanding functionality and a growing list of country approvals for ESS application. Various system configurations are possible. PowerControl and PowerAssist - Increasing grid or generator capacity - Maximum mains or generator current can be adjusted. MultiPlus-II will then take into account other AC loads and use the excess for battery charging, preventing the generator or grid from being overloaded (PowerControl function). PowerAssist takes the PowerControl principle even further. Where peak power is generally only required for a limited period of time, the MultiPlus-II will compensate for insufficient generator, shore or utility power with power from the battery. When the load decreases, spare power is used to charge the battery.

Solar power: AC power available even during grid failure - MultiPlus-II can be used in off-grid and grid-connected PV and other alternative energy systems. It is compatible with both solar charge controllers and grid-tied inverters.

Two AC Outlets - The main output has no interrupt function. MultiPlus-II takes over the supply of connected loads in the event of a grid failure or shore/generator power failure. This happens so quickly (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic devices continue to operate without interruption. The second output is live only when AC is present at the input of the MultiPlus-II. Loads that should not drain the battery, such as a water heater, can be connected to this output.

Virtually unlimited power thanks to parallel and three-phase operation - Up to 6 Multis can operate in parallel to achieve higher power output. For example, six 48/5000/70 units will provide 25 kW / 30 kVA output power with a 420 Amp charging capacity. In addition to parallel connection, three units of the same model can be configured for three-phase output. But that's not all: up to 6 three units can be connected in parallel for a 75 kW / 90 kVA inverter and a charging capacity of more than 1200 Amperes.

On-site system configuration, monitoring and control Settings can be changed in minutes with the VEConfigure software (computer or laptop and MK3-USB interface required). Various monitoring and control options available: Color Control GX, Venus GX, Octo GX, CANvu GX, laptop, computer, Bluetooth (with optional VE.Bus Smart dongle), Battery Monitor, Digital Multi-Control Panel.

Remote configuration and monitoring - Install a Color Control GX, Cerbo GX, or other GX product to connect to the Internet. Operational data can be stored and viewed free of charge on our VRM (Victron Remote Management) website. When connected to the Internet, systems can be accessed remotely and settings can be changed.
